Matthew Lepore, who spent two years as the attorney for the Colorado Oil & Gas Conservation Commission, will become its new director, Gov. John Hickenlooper announced Thursday.
Lepore, an attorney for Denver’s Beatty & Wozniak PC, which focuses on energy and natural resources law, said in an interview that he will start on Aug. 13.
He replaces David Neslin, who stepped down March 1 to become a partner at Denver law firm Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP.
